About Jeanealogy

A private place for one family’s history: the people, the records that prove them, and the story of how the research was done.

The name

Jeanealogy is named in honor of Jeane McCrary Parker, whose years of research into the Parker and Duncan families started this work. Her papers, her notes, and the records she gathered are the foundation of everything here.

How it works

  • Every fact is tied to where it came from, and conflicting facts sit side by side until someone resolves them.
  • Nothing is ever overwritten or erased. Every change makes a new version, and the old one stays in the history.
  • Outside data, such as a file export, is staged and reviewed by a person before anything joins the tree.
  • Living people are private by default. Only family members who have been invited can see them.
  • Everything can be exported in standard formats, so the research outlives any one program.

Who makes it

Jeanealogy is built by Parker Technology Solutions, Inc. in Gainesville, Georgia.
